The theme comes with dummy data, to personalize the theme you will need to do:

  • Adjust config.php file
  • Configure Site & Theme settings from Kirby CMS Panel

Site options

Once in the "Site options" page you can configure the general information of the site & the specific theme options:

General Site options

  • Title
  • Subtitle / Tagline
  • Description
  • Keywords
  • Author
  • Copyright

Theme options

  • Default Cover Image: Cover image for pages / posts without cover image.
  • Quick Contact: Contact information used on the site footer.
  • Newsletter form: Embed HTML code of your newsletter registration form usedo on the site footer.
  • Display Share buttons: To enable / disable share buttons on pages & posts
  • Social: Social networks links showed on the site footer.

Editing content

The theme comes with dummy content, use it as a base to create your own content. Use the power of kirbytext to modify the images, texts and structure to fit your needs.

Cover Image

Select one of the images of the page as "Cover image" and this will be shown at the top of the page. The elements of the page will change their color according of the colors of the selected image.

Different Lyouts

Play with the different options and create your own layout based on your needs. Use the Kirbytext Tag Columns to create as different layouts as you want.

Slideshow / Carousels

Use the custom Carousel Kirbytext Tags to create slideshows & carousels to show your images inside the content of the pages & posts.

Single Carousel / Slideshow

Add images to the page or post and insert inside the content the following tag:

(single-carousel: image1.jpg, image2.jpg, image3.jpg)

This will create a wanderfull slideshow inside the content of your page.

Big Carousel

If do you want to show a multiple images carousel then, add images to the page and use:

(big-carousel: image1.jpg, image2.jpg, image3.jpg)

This will create a wanderfull multiple slides carousel inside the content of your page.


Blog settings

The blog page has some extra settings to configure blog options:

  • Pagination: To set different posts per page in blog page, archives page and set.
  • Comments: To enable or disable comments on posts.
  • DISQUS Shortname: The comments of the blog use DISQUS service. In this field do you have to put the shortname of your DISQUS account.

Categories of posts are inside the "Categories" page. Edit "Categories" page, on the sidebar in the "Pages" section you can manage the categories: Create, Edit, Sort, etc... The categoris will be available to be selected on post page form.


Posts are subpages of "Blog" page. Edit the "Blog" page, on the sidebar in the "Pages" section you can manage the posts: Create, Edit, Sort, etc...
